Coil wire kit with a special locking clip that provides positive retention for demanding race applications. Fits all LX series coils. Includes 40" length of 8.5mm spiral core FireWire (low 25 ohm/foot resistance) and an assortment of boots and terminals to fit both SAE tower style and conventional distributor terminals.
Flame-Thrower canister coils can benefit virtually any distributor type inductive system. Its higher voltage allows larger spark plug gaps for added power, smoother response and better fuel economy. These coils are internally resisted so they are compatible with many ignition systems.

Pertronix Flame-Thrower II Ignition Coil
Flame-Thrower II coils feature a super low resistance which make them the ideal coil for Ignitor II ignition systems as well as many other high energy ignitions. Low resistance and improved turns ratio help to produce up to 45,000 volts. The higher voltage enables you to run larger spark plug gaps which Pertronix claims adds power and better fuel economy.
