Crankcase ventilation is a way to control the gases escaping from the crankcase and recirculation them back into the combustion camber of the engine. They are an important part of your emission system.
Oil lines are used to transport oil around to the various systems in the vehicle. They operate under heat and pressure. They should be inspected for cracking, drying and aging at every oil change. It's a good idea to replace the clamps when you replace the oil lines.
