Clutch Super Kits

Clutch Super Kits for E46
In this kit, you get everything you need to replace your clutch all at once. If you are spending the time and effort to pull your engine out of your car, you might as well make sure that you are replacing and fixing every piece that might need attention, while you have access to it. Here's what the kit includes:
  • Three piece clutch kit
  • New bolts for flywheel and clutch pressure plate
  • New crankshaft rear seal (aka flywheel seal)
  • New transmission Input Shaft seal
  • New shifter selector rod seal
  • New exhaust flange gaskets/seals
  • New exhaust flanges
  • New flex disc nuts (where applicable)
  • New pilot bearing
  • New release bearing spring clip
  • New clutch pivot pin
  • New slave cylinder
If you don't already own one, you will also need the flywheel pilot bearing puller tool for removing the flywheel pilot bearing. You will also need the clutch alignment tool as well.

NOTE: Flywheels are not included with these kits. If your old flywheel is worn beyond its re-surfacing limit, it should be replaced with a new one available below. NOTE: Proper installation requires clutch and disc to be installed on the flywheel before removal of shipping plate. Removal of the shipping plate before installation on the flywheel will require the SAC springs to be reset with factory special tools. To remove this plate, you MUST use: (1) CT-1011 Tool, not included in kits.

Clutch Kits

This section contains clutches and related items. If you are looking for that little piece to complete your clutch job, you are in the right place. When doing a clutch job, it's always a good idea to replace the rear end seal on the engine at the same time and also replace the throw-out bearing, flywheel bolts and pilot bearing. You should also replace the clutch release fork and the master/slave cylinders at the same time for added insurance. If you are re-using your flywheel, you should have it re-surfaced so your new clutch seats correctly.

(1) Disc, (1) Pressure Plate, (1) Release Bearing, (1) Pilot Bearing, (1) Clutch Alignment Tool, Do not remove the shipping plate before the pressure plate and disc are installed on the flywheel. If the plate is removed prematurely, the clutch will self-adjust and become unusable,

SPEC Stage 1 Clutch Kit
SPEC Stage 1 Clutch Kits feature an integrally molded carbon kevlar-based, high performance organic lining that offers smooth engagement and excellent life. This lining has an integrally bonded steel backing for strength under high clamp loads and temperatures. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Best for street and many track/off-road applications. Some kits may not include the throwout bearing, please contact us to see if your kit does.
SPEC Stage 2 Clutch Kit
SPEC Stage 2 Clutch Kits feature segmented or full faced pure Kevlar disc with steel backing. This lining features excellent drivability like the stage 1, but offers slightly longer life and higher torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Best for street, drag, pulling and autocross. Some kits may not include the throwout bearing, please contact us to see if your kit does.
SPEC Stage 2+ Clutch Kit
SPEC Stage 2+ Clutch Kits feature a multi-friction disc in a full faced configuration with carbon semi-metallic on one side and Kevlar on the other. Bridging the gap between stage 2 and stage 3, the 2+ offers drivability and engagement quality characteristic of the stage 2, but with a 15-20% higher torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Great for street, drag, autocross, road racing, pulling, rallye and drift. SPEC Stage 3 Clutch Kit
SPEC Stage 3 Clutch Kits feature a carbon semi-metallic 6 puck sprung hub disc that has been the leading puck clutch in drivability, life and torque capacity. This unit is designed for street and race cars that require an aggressive but streetable engagement and high torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Also available in 3 puck configuration. Great for street, drag, road racing, pulling, rallye and drift. Some kits may not include the throwout bearing, please contact us to see if your kit does.
