Oxygen Sensors

The oxygen sensor actively measures the exhaust output from the engine in order to determine the proper mixture for the car. If you are having trouble adjusting the mixture on your car to proper levels, there is a high chance that you may have a faulty oxygen sensor. The oxygen sensor is located before the catalytic converter because the air/fuel mixture ratio cannot be accurately calculated after the exhaust gases have been processed through the CAT. It's also highly recommended that you check out our Pelican Technical Article on Replacing Oxygen Sensors.

Oxygen Sensor Removal Tools
Are you having trouble removing the oxygen sensor? Many times, it is not possible to get a wrench or socket around the sensor due to its location in the exhaust. Once again, Pelican has your answer. This special tool allows you to remove the oxygen sensor using a standard 3/8" drive ratchet, simplifying an otherwise difficult job.

Air Mass Sensors

The air mass sensor (meter) measures the amount of air that is flowing into the engine manifold. This sensor is critical to obtaining the proper air/fuel mixture. If you're having problems with your mixture it may be your mass sensor.

Air Temperature Sensors

The temperature of the air flowing into the engine is important to the smooth running of your car. This section contains the sensors for measuring the air temperature.

Fuel Level Sending

Don't get caught at the side of the road with an empty tank even though your gauge says full. The fuel tank sender is used to measure the amount of fuel in the fuel tank and send an electrical impulse to the fuel gauge. If your fuel gauge is starting to give incorrect readings, it's possibly this sender.
