i have an e36, when I turn on the AC and make it in the recycle mode, the there is a car in front of me and it is making smoke or bad smell

  Followup from the Pelican Staff: Check if the fresh air flap is closing. Sounds like it is not. The actuator motor for the flap may have failed. Give our parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need.
