FI Temperature Sensors |
| The FI temp sensor is an important feedback device in the fuel injection system. The idea behind it is that when the application (water, oil, etc..) reaches a certain temperature the switch activates, sending an impulse to the fuel injection computer which monitors the whole system. If the switch goes bad, it can cause false readings, causing all sorts of little glitches. Replace it if you are having problems with your FI, and preliminary tests show no change in resistance across the sensor as the car warms up. |
