Throttle Switches |
| Has your E30's idle gone crazy? Does it keep going back and forth with no apparent reason? The cause may be the throttle position switch. This switch is used to control the operation of the idle control valve, and cause a fluctuating idle if it is faulty. Over time, the small electrical connections inside can separate and render the unit useless. |

Motronic Timing Mark and Impulse Senders  |

Oxygen Sensors |
| The oxygen sensor actively measures the exhaust output from the engine in order to determine the proper mixture for the car. If you are having trouble adjusting the mixture on your car to proper levels, there is a high chance that you may have a faulty oxygen sensor. The oxygen sensor is located before the catalytic converter because the air/fuel mixture ratio cannot be accurately calculated after the exhaust gases have been processed through the cat. |
