|  | | | BMW E24 Suspension - Page 2 | Shock/Strut Absorber Mounting Hardware | | Is your strut housing or shock mount broken from driving around on blown shocks? If so, we can provide you with a new piece, to bring your BMW's handling back to perfection. Often times a loud clunking sound from the wheels will indicate a bad shock mount. Note: for those of you who have upgraded to stiffer rear shocks and springs, we recommend you use 33-52-1-132-104 in place of the regular mounts (33-52-1-128-819), as they are a stiffer mount designed to handle the extra weight of convertible models and are a direct bolt-in replacement. Adding these mounts will help transmit more rebounding energy from stiff shocks than the stock mounts. |
