| This section contains clutches and related items. If you are looking for that little piece to complete your clutch job, you are in the right place. When doing a clutch job, it's always a good idea to replace the rear end seal on the engine at the same time, replace the throw-out bearing, flywheel bolts and pilot bearing. You should also replace the clutch release fork and the master/slave cylinders at the same time for added insurance. If you are re-using your flywheel, have it re-surfaced so your new clutch seats correctly. |

Clutch Super Kit  |
Now available from Pelican is our clutch super kit for the E21 BMW. In this kit, you get everything you need to replace your clutch all at once. All the parts contained in the kit are either OEM or Genuine BMW parts. If you are spending the time and effort to pull your engine out of your car, you might as well make sure that you are replacing and fixing every piece that might need attention, while you have access to it. Here's what the kit includes:- Three piece Sachs clutch kit
- New flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts
- New flywheel and transmission mainshaft seals
- New pilot bearing and seals
- New release bearing spring clip
- New clutch pivot pin
- New slave cylinder

Pressure Plates |
| Original Equipment Manufacturer for BMW, these Sachs pressure plates are the industry standard for replacement of your BMW's clutch. The pressure plate is what holds the clutch disc against the flywheel and transfers power from the engine to the transmission. If the pressure plate is old or failing, the clamping force may not be enough to transfer all of the power from the flywheel to the transmission without having the clutch 'slip.' Throw Out Bearings |
| You should always throw out your old throw-out bearing everytime that you replace your clutch disc and pressure plate. A loud squeak when the clutch pedal is pressed in can indicate that there is a problem with your throw-out bearing. This can also indicated a flywheel pilot bearing problem as well. |
