| Keep your injection system clean by changing your fuel filter every 6000 miles. When fuel filters get clogged, they can cause all sorts of problems, including clogged injectors, and contaminated fuel lines. Many times changing a fuel filter can make an old car run like new. |

Fuel Injectors |

Cold Start Valves |
| The Cold Start Valve acts as an extra fuel injector, providing the engine with extra fuel when cold. In theory, it works the same way as a choke on a carburetor, intentionally making the engine run rich until it has warmed up to operating temperature. Usually, when a cold start valve starts to go bad or leak, you will notice poor fuel economy and hard starting when the engine is hot. |
