Important Note: It seems that the
economy combined with other factors beyond our control have tapered
interest in the Pelican Wine Tour this year. As of three weeks
out, we have not had enough people sign up and commit in order to
continue with the event this year. There seems to be many
people cancelling and postponing plans for their Monterey
weekend this year - many other events are being cancelled. It
is with much regret that we suspend the Wine Tour for this year.
We will see what the interest is next year in 2011.
If you are looking for an
alternative event to attend on Friday, I would recommend the Bonhams
auction at the Quail. Admission is free - you don't need a Quail
ticket, and they are auctioning off some very exciting cars this
year (917, 910, 911 RSR, 908, and a 962).
We apologize for
any inconvenience this has caused - we are disappointed as well.
