If they are the standard, up to '89 911 (to '86 944), and you do have RS, or RSR flares, they should fit; in fact you should be able to fit 8x16, and with the right offset and tires you can run a 9x16. Technically the offset is not the same on wider wheels, but the backspace is, and that is the real issue. The RS flair was just the early version of the Carrera/SC flair; the differences, if any, are so slight I can't even tell. I know several people that have done the conversion.
