From: Dave Darling [darling@simlab.arc.nasa.gov] Sent: Wednesday, May 12, 1999 8:56 AM To: 914@rennlist.org Subject: More on VDO Senders and Connectors OK, I did a little digging in the garage. The oil temp sender that I put into my 914 is VDO part # 323 055, and is labeled "Sender 300F M14x1.5 1 531 006 114D". Those are from the package it came in. As I said, if I had it to do over I might have tried the sender with the screw-clamp con- nector for the wire, rather than the push-on connector. Speaking of push-on connectors, the ones I mentioned earlier *do* fit the stock 914 center console gauges. At least, they fit the stock oil temp gauge and the stock voltmeter. I can't find my clock, so I can't tell you about that one. I also forgot to check if they fit the fuel gauge--oops. Just more info for those of you who are going gauge-happy like me... ;^) --DD Dave Darling 74 914 2.0 (decapitated) darling@simlab.arc.nasa.gov "OFF WITH ITS HEADS!"
