If the relay is bad they usually won't work at all, or they park in the wrong position. You need to replace the switch. On Porsches, you usually don't need a puller to get the steering wheel off. Just pull off the horn pad, and unscrew the steering wheel retaining nut. The wheel should then pull off with your hands. For the heater slide problem, you either have a broken cable (unlikely), or a broken air control valve. With a flashlight, follow the cable from the heater slide to the air control valve to make sure it is intact. The most likely failure point will be where it connects to the air control valve. If either the cable or the valve itself is bad, they need to be replaced. You are okay using unleaded fuel in a '79 model--they were made to run on unleaded by that time. Wurth makes an excellent product called "Body Protection Spray" that comes with a little nozzle that lets you reach inside doors and body panel. Please contact Tom at Pelicanparts@csi.com for help in getting any of these parts/products. Hope this helps, Bob at Pelican Parts Wayne at Pelican Parts wrote: > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Subject: Re: 924 questions > Date: Thu, 01 Jul 1999 16:26:01 -0700 > From: Wayne at Pelican Parts > Organization: Pelican Parts > To: Peter Lourens > References: <377B34AB.5267DD85@akn.nl> > > Hi there.
