The part sent to me by PP was nearly an exact duplicate to the original. It was only lacking the cracks ;) Anyhow, installation was a breeze and only took about 10 minutes. Most of that time was spent finding the correct millimeter socket, lol.

Does not fit 993 turbo
This part is listed as fitting 1996-1997 (993) 911 Turbo. On my '97, it doesn't come close to fitting; I suspect the catalog is incorrect.

Confusion with alignment and attachment of new duct
I have a 1990 C2 Targa and this replacement air duct does not align in the same manner as the OEM 964-106-403-01.The rear bolt hole openings in new air duct are offset from original by 1/2" to 3/4".The backside side of original is notched for alignment and the new is not. What is one to do?
Followup from the Pelican Staff: This is what happens with OEM Porsche parts sometimes. Porsche has superseded the old part number to this one, and sometimes they are not an *exact* match. A used one may work better, or the new one may have to be slightly modified to fit.
