This part was completely missing on my car. The Pelican forum identified the part and provided info on installation. Very simple to install - just requires patience to work in a tight environment. Fit into position perfectly and works. With functioning hand throttle can increase idle in colder weather - better starting and warm up.

Manual Throttle Lever
Part arrived correct and as shown in cataloque.
No fitting instructions on Pelican site
Even workdhop manual I have did not give detailed fitting ins. Lever fitted up quite easily after some fiddling. Can now drive car out of garage with ease.

Old one was broken, needed a new one, this one worked, identical to original, so probably in another 30 years this one will be broken as well, but hopefully Pelican will be here to supply another to the next owner.

Pain to Install
Actually, installing the connector isn't that difficult but it is a real bear to get to it. A search on the Pelican BBS was helpful and that part works great.

The product ordered was exactly what I received...thanks pelican..
However even though the part had a porsche part number and porsche part tag..The part didnt seem right..
What I pulled out was a hard plastic piece which given the application it would seem that the piece was meant to be firm. Its purpose is to push on the swedge ball on the throttle.
What I received was a piece that was pliable..not firm. So I am a little confused as to what the part is really suppose to be. The performance does not meet the original part. I have to now push the gas peddle down with my foot first then pull up on the throttle lever to hold my desired position....
So I dont know how to really rate the product..if i didnt know any better I would be disappointed.
So i give it a 3 star...how can i argue with a OEM Part?
Followup from the Pelican Staff: The original one is indeed a bit pliable - that is how they were made. Over the years, they dry out and then they become brittle and break. So, when replacing yours with a new one, the replacement may seem like it's not correct, but supposedly they are correct for when the cars were new.
