Perfect upgrade
This evaporator fit perfect and made for a very easy install.I haven't had a real hot day to test but the air output is 10 degrees colder compared to the old one on the day i installed it. Also the volume of air on high speed is greater and quieter.

Thermostat did not fit
The evaporator and TXV are excellent. The thermostat that was supplied was too tall to fit in the stock box in the center console.

Excellent Value
I agree with pretty much everything Arne2 wrote but he did not mention the terrific value of this item. Made in the USA and fits perfectly. 80 degree day here in the Great Northwest and I have 42 degree vent temperatures. Ahhh.

Good fit, looks to be quality unit
Nice fit into the stock evaporator housing.

Two things that could be improved.

One is that they could have shipped more of the sticky black cork-stuff. The amount shipped was sufficient, but just barely. An extra 6 inches would have been much better.

The other is the instructions. There was no mention about inserting the temp probe from the interior switch into the evaporator. Better instruction on how and where the probe should be inserted would be more confidence inspiring.
