Power Steering Pumps |
| A whining power steering pump is usually indicative of internal wear, especially if it has been leaking. Once the pump has been run with its fluid level too low, wear is rapidly accelerated due to the lack of lubrication. Replace your old pump with a new or freshly rebuilt unit in order to maintain smooth and quiet steering. Core charges apply to all rebuilt units. NOTE: E30 325 cars were equipped with either a ZF or Vickers Brand power steering pump. ZF pumps are identified by a ZF label and a triangular pulley flange. Vickers pumps are identified by a round pulley flange. It is important to identify the brand your vehicle is equipped with before placing your order. |
