Head Bolts |
| Rebuilding your engine? Why take risks with old hardware? Use OEM original bolts when reassembling your engine. Head bolts have a tendency to stretch when they are initially torqued, so it's good insurance to use new bolts during re-assembly. NOTE: BMW recommends owners of 325 6 cylinder models upgrade to the newer Torx style head bolts as the original hex head bolts can stretch and break. (It happened to me! i was lucky, the bolt head didn't fly into the camshaft!) |
