BMW E24 Clutch Super Kits  |
Now available from Pelican is our clutch super kit for the E24 BMW. In this kit, you get everything you need to replace your clutch all at once. If you are spending the time and effort to pull your engine out of your car, you might as well make sure that you are replacing and fixing every piece that might need attention, while you have access to it. Here's what the kit includes:- Three piece Sachs clutch kit
- New Pressure plate bolts
- New flywheel bolts
- New crankshaft rear seal (aka flywheel seal)
- New Transmission Main Shaft seal
- New selector rod seal
- New pilot bearing
- New release bearing spring clip
- New clutch pivot pin
- New slave cylinder
- New slave cylinder hose
If you don't already own one, you will also need the flywheel pilot bearing puller tool for removing the flywheel pilot bearing. You will also need the clutch alignment tool if you don't already own one.
NOTE: Flywheels are not included with these kits. If your old flywheel is worn beyond its re-surfacing limit, it should be replaced with a new one available below. Actual kit contents may differ from representative photograph. |

Pressure Plates |
| Original Equipment Manufacturer for BMW, these Sachs pressure plates are the industry standard for replacement of your BMW's clutch. The pressure plate is what holds the clutch disc against the flywheel and transfers power from the engine to the transmission. If the pressure plate is old or failing, the clamping force may not be enough to transfer all of the power from the flywheel to the transmission without having the clutch 'slip.'
