Ignition Rotors |
| A major part of any tune-up includes replacing the ignition rotor. To check if the rotor needs replacing, simply take off the distributor cap, and look at the metal edge of the rotor. If it is pitted or has carbon deposits, the rotor should be replaced with a new one. Often, A new rotor can make a tired engine run like new. NOTE: Some 5-Series and 6-Series models came with either slip on or bolt on ignition rotors. Please check rotor type before ordering. |

Distributor Caps |
| A part of every major tune-up is to replace the distributor cap. If your cap shows signs of wear such as cracks or carbon trails, it's a good idea to replace it. Also, be sure to replace the ignition rotor at the same time. |
