Bosch Spark Plugs  |
| New spark plugs are a must for any good tune-up. Replace and check for abnormal pitting or charred plug ends. Also check each plug against each other. Any strange variations among plugs are a sure indicator that something is wrong with a particular cylinder. |

| Bosch Platinum 2 Spark Plugs |
| Bosch Platinum 2 plugs have double the amount of pure platinum versus Bosch Platinum in its center electrode, providing a longer performance life. Plus, two ground electrodes provide multiple spark paths, which allow the spark to find the most efficient spark path. Unlike conventional air gap spark plugs, Platinum2 plugs use surface air gap technology. The spark of a Platinum2 first travels over the surface of the insulator nose and then arcs across the air gap to a ground electrode for a longer spark, without increasing the voltage requirement. |

Ignition Rotors |
| A major part of any tune-up includes replacing the ignition rotor. To check if the rotor needs replacing, simply take off the distributor cap, and look at the metal edge of the rotor. If it is pitted or has carbon deposits, the rotor should be replaced with a new one. Often, A new rotor can make a tired engine run like new. NOTE: Some 5-Series and 6-Series models came with either slip on or bolt on ignition rotors. Please check rotor type before ordering. |
