| Question: Every time I go over a bump, the
steering wheel almost whips out of my hand. How do I improve this? Answer: Avoid going over bumps! Just kidding. When the 914 is lowered, the steering rack forms a sharper angle with the A-arms of the suspension. This increased angle gives the road more 'leverage' when going over a bump. This effect can be compensated for with an inexpensive "bump steer kit," which consists of two spacers that are placed underneath the steering rack.
